Our Design Process

At KBC & D we average a speedy 7-day turnaround time for your new custom kitchen. After receiving a customer order, we start by measuring your space to ensure a perfect custom fit. After which, you select the style and color of your new dream kitchen.

Next, we draw up a detailed layout of the new cabinets. The plans are double checked for the utmost precision. At which point they are ready to move to next phase, the production process.

Upon entering this phase, we pull together the required lumber from our extensive on-site raw materials inventory. Then, it's off to the cutting department, where our cutting-edge robotic saws ensure a perfect cut every time.

As any professional furniture builder will tell you, finish is everything. That's why we use a 17 step finishing process that begins with hand sanding and stain application procedures. After that, it's off to our state-of-the-art paint shop, where our professional finishers apply stunning finishes and top coats that brings out the natural beauty and luster of the wood.

Then it's time for assembly. Cases and drawers are assembled to our exacting standards, which ensure a quality product that will last you a life time. The doors and drawers are installed and calibrated for flawless smooth performance.

After that, they are delicately loaded onto one of our enclosed transport trucks, which guarantee that your cabinets arrive as flawless as when they left the assembly line. Finally, our expert installers properly install you new kitchen cabinets so they will be strikingly beautiful and function perfectly for years to come.
